BMW Roadster S 1000 R Launched in India

BMW S 1000 R has launched in India by BMW Motorrad India. It comes to India as a completely built-up unit. It is available in three variants which is completely customizable:

 

  • Standard variant: 17.90 lakh (ex-showroom price)
  • Pro variant: 19.75 lakh (ex-showroom price)
  • Pro M Sport variant: 22.50 lakh (ex-showroom price)

 

“The second generation of the all-new BMW S 1000 R is designed as a power-packed roadster with supreme riding dynamics, athletic character combined with maximum safety, and everyday practicality. It is a unique blend between fast sporty runs and tracks day fun”.  These statement were made by Vikram Pawah, president of BMW Group India.

BMW S 1000 R would be competing with the Ducati Streetfighter V4, Triumph Rocket, Triumph Rocket 3, Ducati Diavel 1260, Kawasaki Z H2, and Triumph Triple 1200.
